Babes in Toyland believes that every child is unique, capable and deserving of a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. Our program supports the whole child by encouraging social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth through play-based and meaningful interactions. We value strong partnerships with families and strive to create an inclusive community where children feel respected, supported, and confident to explore the world around them. Our program follows the HighScope approach to learning, where children actively participate in hands-on experiences that support their natural curiosity and development. We encourage children to plan, and reflect on their activities each day, helping them build confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, and positive relationships. Through supportive adult guidance and a structured yet flexible environment, we foster a love of learning. Our park- like playground features a built-in splashpad, digging construction area, mud kitchen and natural climbing mounds, creating a unique, one-of-a kind outdoor play experience.
