The Montessori Academy of Farmington Hills provides children with a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages academic success, independence, and personal growth. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy, we believe that learning is a lifelong adventure and strive to cultivate confident, curious, and compassionate individuals who approach each day with open minds and hearts.

Our program is designed to support the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of each child. We recognize and celebrate the uniqueness of every student by providing individualized instruction, hands-on learning opportunities, and developmentally appropriate classroom environments. Our teachers work collaboratively to give each child personal attention and guidance so they can reach their full potential.

The Montessori curriculum is centered around five key areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Culture, which includes Science, Geography, History, Art, Music, and Movement. Through self-directed and collaborative learning experiences, children develop independence, concentration, coordination, creativity, and problem-solving skills while building a strong academic foundation.

What makes our program unique is our commitment to educating the whole child. In addition to our comprehensive Montessori curriculum, we provide a warm, positive, and supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, imagine, create, and develop a lifelong love of learning. We value the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students and families while encouraging children to develop respect, kindness, and appreciation for others. Our focus on individualized learning, hands-on experiences, and enrichment opportunities helps students become self-directed learners, flexible thinkers, and well-balanced individuals prepared for future success.
