Bloomfield Maples Montessori is dedicated to cultivating the development of each child’s potential through the Montessori principles. Our intent is to offer a comprehensive education leading to independent thought, self-directed learning and problem solving. Under the direction of experienced Montessori directresses in a specially prepared environment we are committed to nurturing each child intellectually, emotionally and socially. Our goal is to develop each individual into a responsible contributor to the global community by focusing on building confidence, empathy for others and the development of character, social responsibility and leadership.

Oakland County families have access to several high-quality, no-cost preschool options designed to support young children and their caregivers.

GSRP, Great Start Readiness Program
  • GSRP is a state funded preschool program in Michigan for eligible four year olds. It helps children build early learning, social, and school readiness skills. The program provides high quality instruction to prepare children for kindergarten.

Head Start:
  • Head Start is a federally funded preschool program for eligible children and families. It supports children’s learning and development while also offering family resources and health services. Head Start focuses on the whole child and works in partnership with families to help children succeed in school and beyond.
